Apartment Manager 2.1 Demo

This README.TXT file contains information about additional software required for
running Apartment Manager 2.1 Software demo installation.

Before running setup.exe file for the Apartment Manager 2.1 demo
program you have to be sure that the following components have been
already installed on your computer (listed in the proposed installation order):

a) Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 or higher version.

   You can download the latest version of Internet Explorer from http://www.microsoft.com/ie
   See installation instructions on the Microsoft's site.

b) Microsoft .NET Framework

   .NET Framework is needed for all applications developed under .NET platform. Since
   Apartment Manager 2.1 is a .NET application, you need to install .NET Framework before
   installing the Apartment Manager.
   You can download .NET Framework 1.1 installation from http://www.aptmgr.com/download/dotnetfx.exe
   (file size 23.1 Mb).
   To install software just run downloaded dotnetfx.exe file and follow instructions on the screen.

c) Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC)

   MDAC is a set of software components needed to get access to databases. To get
   Apartment Manager working you have to install MDAC. You can download it from
   http://www.aptmgr.com/download/mdac_typ.exe (file size 5.1Mb)
   To install software just run downloaded mdac_typ.exe file and follow instructions on the screen.

d) Microsoft Jet Database Engine

   Apartment Manager stores its data in a database of MS Access format (.mdb) Microsoft
   Jet Database Engine is a driver used to get access to such databases. Thus you have to
   install this package prior installing Apartment Manager demo software. You can
   download it from Apartment Manager site http://www.aptmgr.com/download/Jet40SP3_Comp.exe
   (file size 3.5 Mb).
   To install software just run downloaded Jet40SP3_Comp.exe file and follow instructions on the screen.

Note: Approximate download time for all modules using DSL or Cable Modem is 15 to 20 minutes.
