Apartment Manager 2.1 Demo

Note:  HTC Apartment Manager V2.1 demo requires all of the below listed MicroSoft (tm) modules to be installed on your computer before the demo will execute.  If you have some of the modules already installed on your computer, then download the demo only and any other modules that also need to present in order for the demo to run, otherwise please download the full demo package.

After downloading all modules and before beginning installation, please view the read.me file to understand about additional requirements for the demo.

Please review other required modules below. Approximate download time for all modules using DSL or Cable Modem is 15 to 20 minutes.

If you have a dialup connection (i.e. 56K or similar modem) then contact us at sales@aptmgr.com to have us mail you an Apartment Manager CD demo disk. There is no charge for the demo CD. If you reside outside of the United States there will a nominal mailing fee based on your location.

• Disk space: 50 MB available for installation
• Memory: 64 MB of RAM or higher

Other Software Requirements

These system components must be installed before you install AM:

Internet Explorer	Internet Explorer 5.01 or higher required. You can download it from www.microsoft.com/ie
.NET Framework	.NET Framework is needed for all applications developed under .NET platform. Since Apartment Manager 2.1 is a .NET application, you need to install .NET Framework before installing the Apartment Manager.	Download 23.1 MB
Data Access Components (MDAC)	The set of components needed to get access to databases.	Download 5.1 MB
Jet Database Engine	Driver used to get access to databases of MS Access format (.mdb).	Download 3.5 MB

Installation Instructions

1. Unzip the file into a temporary folder.
2. Start Setup.exe
3. If the following message appears at setup: "The following system components must be installed before you run Setup", you then need to:
• Download the necessary components (see the links for download in "Other Software Requirements")
• Install these components by running the appropriate .exe
• When the components are installed, run Setup.exe again

The First Steps

User secure login in the Apartment Manager is always required to access the database. When started, the program will ask you to insert the user name and the password. Type Admin as User Name, keep the password blank and click Login.
